Siddiq Bazarwala, is a British and Hong Kong citizen. He speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Hindi and has been in the media for almost twenty years.
He is author of the 2017 book, Q&A with an Islamophobe (now openly accessible online to all) that features some of the most vile, widely debunked and yet variedly repeated Islamophobic comments by renowned Islamophobes, anti-Muslim hate groups in an easy-to-reference Q&A format.
In October 2018, he jointly produced a satirical art book on racism, You’re kidding, right? based on a Huffington Post article, written by Omar Alnatour, and illustrated by Maryam Hasan Ahmad. The book is available for free on this site.
He has also written columns for Newsweek, SCMP, Mondoweiss, leading Jewish platform Tikkun, US-based Islamic Monthly, Malaysia-based The Edge Markets, Malaysiakini and others. He was also a keynote speaker at the 2018 & 2019 Pearl Institute Interfaith Dialogue, and delivered several workshops on the Israel-Palestine issue..
